I love trees. I love growing them, watering them, picking fruit from them, using their branches to put in vases throughout my house, cutting them down, using dead wood for fires, and using logs for beautiful handmade furniture or decor. Here are a few ways I found to use trees, specifically Birch trees in home decorating and design. Got any other ideas?

Also try stacking them vertically or with the stump rounds facing outward!

Don’t have the space, money, or time to buy a real horse? Here’s an alternative: The ‘Horsey’ by Eungi Kim: an attachable bike ornament shaped like a horse. Strap on your boots, put on your hat, and ride through the city shouting “Yeeehhaaww!” It’s sure to be a good time.

Anna-Wili Highfield is a Sydney-based artist who makes sculptures of animals from torn paper. The sculptures are made from archival cotton paper that is painted with ink and watercolor, and then torn and sewn together to create the figure of an animal. Aren’t they lovely?

The PEN Story is a fantastic stop motion film about the 50th anniversary of the Olympus Pen camera. It says a lot more about than just a camera though. To me it is about life. How fast it goes and everything that happens in it.
