If you’re female, I know you’ve seen A Knight’s Tale. A classic movie when it comes to romantic dramas. Were you as in love with Jocelyn’s dresses as I was? I want them all. Shannyn Sossamon really rocked that role; and, Heath, I miss you.

The costume design and the styling, especially for Jocelyn’s character, were impeccable. Did you know the production designer, Tony Burrough, and the costume designer, Caroline Harris, created a color palette that becomes richer as William’s fortunes grow? When I watch it again, I will have to take note. How genius?!

Did you see the three folks flying around New York in January? For real. There were people flying. Ok, so they were human-shaped RC planes flown to create the illusion of real people flying, but still…how cool?!

I came across this video by Sean Ohlenkamp and Lisa Blonder Ohlenkamp, owners of Type, a bookstore in Toronto, and love how the books come alive. It reminds me of Toy Story when the toys come alive when the humans aren’t looking.  Oh books, I love you.

My last three weekends were spent in Virginia, Florida, and then South Carolina.; so, by the end of this past weekend, I was looking forward to a weekend staying home. The funny thing is, it’s only Wednesday, and I find myself already planning my next adventure. I’ve always wanted to drive across the country…by myself. Visiting friends, family, and famous destinations along the way, camping under the stars in our nation’s most beautiful natural settings, meeting other wanderers and hearing their stories, and guiding my toes all the way to the Pacific Ocean: the adventures of the journey and the learned truths through the experiences are food to my soul…and I’m craving a full meal.

Have you ever made the trip? How long did it take? Any advice or places you’d recommend I add to my itinerary?
